HPSC exists to strengthen Highland Park athletics by providing resources beyond what public-school funding alone can provide — supporting student-athletes, teams, coaches, facilities, equipment, scholarships and the long-term future of HPISD athletics.
WHAT DOES HPSC ACTUALLY DO?
The Highland Park Sports Club is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting Highland Park athletics. Our role is straightforward: help provide the resources that allow HPISD athletic programs to serve student-athletes at a high level.
Public funding provides the foundation. HPSC helps close the gap. We raise money from the Highland Park community and put those resources back into athletics through district-approved support for programs, facilities, equipment, technology, scholarships, coaches and student-athlete needs.
HPSC is not a booster club for one team. We support the broader Highland Park athletics community and work with HPISD athletic leadership to identify priorities that can make the greatest impact.

Memberships, the golf tournament, Scots Illustrated, sponsorships, signage, the Scot Shop and direct gifts generate resources for Highland Park athletics.

BUILT BY THE COMMUNITY.
The Highland Park Sports Club was established in the 1980s to supplement resources available for athletics within Highland Park Independent School District. From the beginning, the idea was simple: bring the community together to strengthen opportunities for Highland Park student-athletes.
Over the decades, HPSC has grown from a community fundraising organization into a significant partner supporting athletic programs, major projects, scholarships and district-wide priorities.
The people who built HPSC understood something that remains true today: exceptional athletic programs require more than facilities and equipment. They require a community willing to invest in young people, coaches and the experiences that teams create.

Athletics teaches preparation, resilience, accountability, leadership and how to become part of something larger than yourself. HPSC invests in the environment where those lessons are learned.

Why Supporting HPSC Matters

BUILT FOR GENERATIONS OF SCOTS.
In 2026, HPSC established the Athletics Legacy Endowment through the Highland Park Education Foundation. HPEF provides financial oversight, administration and investment management while Endowment funds remain dedicated to HPSC purposes and HPISD athletics.
The goal is to support athletics today while building a permanent financial resource that can help future generations with programs, facilities, equipment, scholarships, student-athlete needs, teams and coaches.
Parents, alumni, former athletes, families and friends of Highland Park now have an opportunity to make an impact that can extend far beyond a single season.
