About HPSC

The Highland Park Sports Club (HPSC) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization founded in the 1980s to support all UIL Athletic Teams within the Highland Park Independent School District (HPISD). Formed in the wake of Texas’ school finance (“Robin Hood”) legislation, HPSC supplements district funding to enrich student athletic programs.

Since its founding, HPSC has provided financial support to HPISD teams and organizations and makes an annual contribution to the district’s general budget. HPSC also awards four scholarships to graduating Highland Park seniors and provides reimbursement awards to coaches pursuing master’s degrees.
